Subway celebrates 800th N.C. restaurant

Corporate officials with the Subway chain were scheduled to be in Mooresville on Friday to celebrate the recent opening of the chain’s 800th restaurant in North Carolina, in the Byers Creek (Harris Teeter) retail center at N.C. 150 West and Perth Road.

The new Subway is in the former Three Goats coffee shop location.

The chain was scheduled to give away $800 in prizes and gift certificates as part of the celebration.
