
The Mooresville South Iredell Economic Development Corporation Developers Council
The Mooresville South Iredell Economic Development Corporation Developers Council is an organization comprised of a dedicated group of developers, county and town officials, realtors and other interested parties whose whose primary goal is to streamline the development process. We strive to create a balanced and cohesive plan for all future construction in the Mooresville South Iredell area, while creating a positive experience for corporations and developers planning on building in the area.
Goals:
- To create a balanced and cohesive plan for all future construction in Mooresville/South Iredell area.
- To advise town and county staff on the importance of making the zoning/rezoning, permitting and inspection process one that is a positive experience for corporations and developers planning on locating or building in this area.
- To entice organizations to relocate here by working closely with members of Economic Development, local politicians and area Realtors.
- To systematize and streamline the process for applying and receiving permits at both the town and county level.
- To build a strong trusting relationship between town and county building and inspection departments by creating an atmosphere where all parties work toward the common goal of making Mooresville/South Iredell a great place to live, work, and play.
- To educate the public on the town's and county's vision for future development by providing various resources to help people understand how and why a particular type of development is best suited for an area.
- To create a voluntary board whose sole purpose is to listen to problems that either developers or county/town officials are experiencing and offer solutions to help get the project back on track.
