The Mooresville South Iredell Economic Development Corporation (MSIEDC) is a private, non-profit organization located in Iredell County, and dedicated to the growth and success of the Mooresville business community. We work with the town, county, state, and local organizations to address business issues and opportunities in an effort to maintain and ensure a vibrant business community.

The Mooresville Center at Mitchell Community College offers a variety of courses in college credit and continuing education programs, including Accounting, Early Childhood, Medical Assisting, Small Business Seminars and Employability classes.


Central Piedmont Community College

CPCC has a main campus in Charlotte, and numerous satalite campuses in the area.  CPCC offers a wide array of certificate and degree programs including Applied Technologies, Arts and Communication, Business and Accounting, Construction Technology, Education, Engineering Technology, Health Sciences, Information Technology, and Nursing.

Davidson is a highly selective independent liberal arts college for 1,700 students located 20 minutes north of Charlotte in Davidson, N.C. Since its establishment in 1837 by Presbyterians, the college has graduated 23 Rhodes Scholars and is consistently regarded as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country. Through The Davidson Trust, the college became the first liberal arts institution in the nation to replace loans with grants in all financial aid packages, giving all students the opportunity to graduate debt-free.
