Carrigan Farms
For more than 20 years Carrigan Farms has been open to the public for pick-your-own fruits and vegetables and for famous hayrides enjoyed by all ages.
Groups can enjoy swimming and picnics at the quarry by reservation. Fed by an underground spring and rimmed in rock that rises to 70 feet, the quarry holds ten million gallons of water. Perfect for weddings!
Lazy 5 Ranch
The Lazy Five Ranch drive-through safari takes you through gently sloping pastures as you watch more than 700 animals from six continents in a natural habitat. Carolina Panthers On October 26, 1993, NFL owners unanimously selected Carolina as the 29th NFL franchise and the first expansion team since 1976. The Panthers quickly became a team to reckon with becoming NFC Champions in 2003, runner-up in the 2004 Super Bowl and Conference Champs again in 2005. This exciting NFL football team plays its home games at Bank Of America Stadium in downtown Charlotte, only 30 minutes from Mooresville.

Charlotte Bobcats - The most recent NBA expansion team, the Bobcats provide popular and exciting NBA entertainment for area basketball fans. Home games are played in the newly constructed $264 million arena located in Charlotte's Center City, just a quick drive from Mooresville.

Charlotte Sting - The WNBA team has developed a stong fan following and enjoys great support. Women's pro basketball is alive and well here because of the high level of exciting play coming form this resourceful team.

Charlotte Checkers - The ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Rangers recently celebrated their 10th year in Charlotte. Home games for this popular hockey team are played at Cricket Arena in downtown Charlotte.

Charlotte Knights - This is baseball played the way baseball was meant to be played. Having a dedicated and strong following, the Knights, a minor league team, play its home games at Knights Stadium, a $15 million, 10,000 seat facility in nearby Fort Mill.
